OPRAH'S BIG SECRET: SHE'S GOT A HALF SISTER!!!

Oprah's big secret...she has a half sister!! She didn't know about her until this past November.

"Yes, it is true," Winfrey told the audience of her daytime talk program, "The Oprah Winfrey Show."



"It is true that my mother, my mother Vernita is also Patricia's birth mother. That means Patricia is my half sister who I never knew existed," Winfrey said.

Patricia appeared on Winfrey's show today and has been raised in foster homes since she was 7.
Oprah's mom, Vernita Lee, had given Patricia up for adoption because she thought it would be impossible to get off welfare if she had another child, she said.



Oprah, who is 56, said she had no idea she had a half-sister because at the time Lee was pregnant, she was only nine years old and living with her father. Patricia said she first learned she was Oprah's half sister in 2007, but kept it a secret because she knew it would create a media frenzy.

OMG How cool would it be to have Oprah as your half sister? I wouldn't want any money from her just can I have my own show like Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil, Racheal Ray ,etc LOL

THE GAME'S TIA MOWRY IS PREGNANT

"The Game's" star Tia Mowry is going to be a mommy!!!


Tia is due July 3, her rep confirms exclusively in the new Us Weekly, out Wednesday.


The baby will be the first child for Mowry, 32, and her hubby Battle: Los Angeles actor Cory Hardrict, 31, and the pregnancy will be documented by the Style Network for a show to air later this year.


"We are both so excited to be parents," the couple tell Us in a statement. "We have been wanting this a long time!"

Congrats girlfriend...now if we can get your sister Tamera hooked up that would be great!!!

GLEE COVER BIEBER AND GWYNETH IS COMING BACK YAY!!!!

OK so me personally I am suffering from "GLEEWITHDRAWL" but like one of the songs they sang "Happy Days Are Here Again"...From Madonna to Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, Glee has tackled and scored with songs from the biggest names in pop music, so why wouldn't Justin Bieber aka Bieber Fever be next in line?



A sweeps episode in February will see the glee club covering several of the teeny bopper's songs, according to TVLine.com. No plans so far for the "Baby" singer to appear yet on the show.


Also according to Entertainment Weekly, Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as Holly Holliday for two additional episodes this spring. Holly will serve as a sex education teacher, and this time, she'll be dating Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison). Kristin Chenoweth will also return as April Rhodes for a multi-episode arc. Very Very Interesting and Very Juicy!!!


Glee returns Sunday, Feb. 6, following the Super Bowl.

Gwyneth Paltrow on Postpartum Depression: "I Felt Like A Zombie"

One of my favorite actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and I have something in common: We have both experience postpartum depression...me in 2004 after my 6 year old son Kavon and Gwyneth after the birth of her son Moses in 2006.

She always seems so bubbly, but the sun doesn't always shine on casa Paltrow-Martin. The "Country Strong" star says her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, first recognized her postpartum depression.



"About four months into it, Chris came to me and said, 'Something's wrong, something's wrong,'" she reveals in an interview in the February issue of Good Housekeeping magazine (via People.com.) "But Chris identifed it, and that sort of burst the bubble."

Continuing the discussion in Good Housekeeping, Paltrow says: "I felt like a zombie. I couldn't access my heart. I couldn't access my emotions. I couldn't connect."


Paltrow -- who says she was on "cloud nine" following the 2004 birth of daughter Apple -- was in denial about how serious it all was.

"I thought postpartum depression meant you were sobbing everyday and incapable of looking after a child," she says. "But there are different shades of it and depths of it, which is why I think it's so important for women to talk about it. It was a trying time. I felt like a failure."


But British rocker hubby Martin -- who taught her how to play the guitar for her role as a Faith Hill-esque superstar in "Country Song" -- was there to help her through it. "I can depend on him," she says. "He makes me laugh. He's really appreciate of me. You know, he makes me feel special."

YAY!!! Oprah's New Channel OWN is ON and POPPIN'!!!

OMG!!! I am truly excited that Oprah's new network OWN aka Oprah Winfrey Network launched on January 1st. I am truly addicted to this network. I just finished watching "Ask Oprah's All-Stars" with Dr. Phil, Suze Orman, and Dr. Oz.

As I have always said Oprah has been my media idol!!! That is why I got in the broadcasting business and why I blog,write,etc. I don't want to be the NEXT Oprah Winfrey, I want to be DA DIVA MIKA aka Tamika Shanea'!!!

Smartly tapping into that long-cultivated audience, the first program Winfrey plugged was Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes, an "uncensored, unprecedented look" what it takes to make nation's most popular talk show tick every day. Following Winfrey during everything from her makeup-less drive to work to tense meetings with senior staffers, Winfrey is attempting to give the first peek behind the curtain of her daytime empire.


Winfrey then turned the focus onto the other celebrities that will grace her new network. The new series "Oprah Presents Master Class" will feature raw interviews of such stars as Diane Sawyer, Jay-Z, Simon Cowell, Sidney Poitier and Lorne Michaels, who Winfrey described as some of our "greatest thought leaders."

Winfrey also showed sneak peeks of celebrity-based reality shows that played almost like weekly therapy sessions for the shows' stars. "Finding Sarah" follows Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson on a journey to find her own self-worth. "Why Not? With Shania Twain" centers on the parallel decline of the country megastar's marriage and career as she lost the confidence to perform as her fame grew.

The network will have some dysfunctional celebrity family reality series on it. "The Judds" follows mother-daughter country duo Wynonna and Naomi Judd as they learn to communicate before hitting the road for a new tour. "Ryan and Tatum: The O'Neals" focuses on the father and daughter actors trying to repair a bond that was broken when Tatum was still a young girl.

The two most enticing programs for our money are Lisa Ling's documentary series, "Our America", which follows Ling as she dissects the lives of various groups, including sex offenders, faith healers, drug addicts and transsexuals, and Your Own Show (Friday, Jan. 7 at 8/7c), a competition series featuring 10 finalists competing for their big break — a show on the new network.

Sticking a little closer to traditional reality fare are such shows as "Enough Already!", which shows organizational expert Peter Walsh save families from "destructive" clutter in their homes; "Christina Ferrare's Big Bowl of Love", a rather paint-by-numbers cooking show; "In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman", which documents the sex expert as she tries to help couples reignite their sparks; and "Kidnapped by the Kids", on which workaholic parents are forced to put down their BlackBerrys and spend the week with their families.

"Miracle Detectives", which follows two investigators — one a believer and one a cynic — as they try to explain illogical occurrences, will likely hinge on how interesting the "miracle of the week" is. Other series include "Addicted to Food", which focuses on an intense rehab center that helps overeaters and bulimics alike, and "Breaking Down the Bars", which follows a group of women in prison.

To come later in the year are talk shows from Rosie O'Donnell and Winfrey herself, the latter called "Oprah's Next Chapter".

"With this channel, we wanted to create the kind of television that wouldn't waste your time. Television we believe you want to watch," Winfrey said. "Every day, here's what I'm hoping — that you will find something here to inspire you."

I'm truly excited and I look forward of all the good programming that is to come out of this network!!!

David Arquette Checks Into Rehab

David Arquette has checked into rehab, his rep confirms today


"He's trying to win Courteney [Cox] back, and he turned back to drinking again out of frustration," the source tells Us. "He is doing this to show her he means it and will do anything for her and Coco. He wants his family life back. It's been so hard on him."

Arquette, 39, was on the Howard Stern Show in December and admitted to drinking heavily after his October split from Cox, his wife of 11 years. "I've been drinking a lot because I'm heartbroken. It's really a personal, traumatic thing." Arquette also noted that his actions were causing concern. "Everybody is worried and concerned about me," he said.

Umm you think David?? Hello you split with one of the "Friends"!!! And you starting 2 drink...you don't think people won't be concerned??
