MILEY'S ALL GROWN UP!

I love Miley Cyrus!! My 6 year old daughter got me addicted to her when "Hannah Montana" first started. I have been shocked by some of the decisions Miley has made but after all she is a teenager. But I think after the Nick Jonas fiasco she really moved up in the dating world. She swore for months her and underwear model Justin Gaston were "just friends" and now Miley is finally breaking it all down in the newest issue of Glamour magazine.
Here is some excerpts from her interview:
On the four-year age difference between her and boyfriend Justin Gaston:
"I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong, and I'm ready for people to accept it. My fans already accept it -- they just want me to be happy. And I haven't been that happy in a few years ... working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I'm finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work. So honestly, I don't feel like there's anything to hide. And I love him so much I don't really care."
On how they met:
My dad introduced us on the "Hannah Montana" set. I looked so bad that day. I was wearing sweats and glasses and we talked. Then he showed up the next day and said, "I can't stop thinking about you. Can I take you to a movie?" When he took me home, I said, "I don't want to get close to you, because I don't know where this is going to go." And he said, "Well, you can't live like that." So we took a three-mile walk, and talked and talked ... Now he's my best friend."
On the pin-thin-body trend in young Hollywood:
"I think it's lame, because it will eat at you forever. I've been at photo shoots where I've tried something on and said, "Oh my gosh, why don't these fit?" But I'll never be a six-foot-tall, 95-pound model; I'm meant to have a little more meat on my bones."
On the temptations of Hollywood:
"In this industry there are so many things that can take over your life: money, alcohol, drugs -- even fashion. People hand you things, and you start to believe life is easy. And it's not like that -- you're not supposed to be the person you play in the movies ... I like keeping my mind as far away from money and the material aspects of my job as possible.
On ending up like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan (who also started out as squeaky-clean Disney Stars):
"The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my parents. My mom's dad died when she was 18, and if something ever happened to one of my parents, I'd want them to go knowing I made them proud. I think it's selfish to go out partying all the time."

Flavor Flav Turns 50. Has a big bash in New York City

Ok so I wrote this article March 16th but I wanted to share it!!

I had the pleasure this past weekend to attend a milestone party! Flavor Flav aka William Drayton aka Fooie Fooie aka Mr. Flavor of Love himself turned 50. He celebrated in grand fashion Sunday night with a star-studded celebration at BB King's nightclub in New York City. I would personally like to thank my husband who is an active member of Public Enemy for that opportunity!
As you can see guests included Ice-T and Coco. Also I met boxing trainer/commentator Emmanuelle Stewart, Kangol from UTFO,sharply dressed Melle Mel of Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, who duetted with Flav on a verse of the legendary 1982 single “The Message.” of course Public Enemy front man Chuck D was there and some of the FOL girls, DJ Kool Herc, Easy Mo Bee, Eric B and so many more it would take up the whole article. Also it was quite the family affair too, as Flavor took several opportunities during the night to French kiss his very pregnant girlfriend Liz onstage,(which I was standing next to),and send shoutouts to his daughter and other family members in the audience.
In a P.E. performance, Chuck D took Flav's role as hype man during their performance of tracks from their album It Takes A Nation Of Million To Hold Us Back which they performed in its entirety.
Also, Flav played drums for Ice-T during his performance of "Six In The Morning." Flav told Ice, "Thank you for not beating me the f**k up for when I crashed your Ferrari." Ice-T revealed the incident happened in 1987 and Flav stated that he still had the tail light from the vehicle.
After pumping the crowd up through Nation of Millions, (Number 48 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time) PE’s set concluded with classics such as “Shut ‘Em Down,” “Public Enemy No.1"and “Fight The Power” (which my husband pulled me onstage and I admitted it was quite overwhelming) before Flav rounded off the thoroughly entertaining two-and-a-half-hour show with a list of thank yous that had me very sleepy and "read to go" like Medea says. No offense Flav!!
Public Enemy then appeared Monday night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where they played “Bring the Noise” with house band the Roots. The hot Philly hip-hop group are also set to back PE later in the year when they perform the entirety of It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back, on other U.S dates including The Roots' June 6th picnic.
I admit it was a wonderful opportunity to not only visit New York City but to be in the presence of legendary hip hop artists!

WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE CHRIS BROWN AND RHIANNA SOAP OPERA?

So we all know the watercoolers at work and the lunchrooms at schools were buzzing today about Chris Brown and Rhianna!! First we all hear that they are no shows at The Grammy Awards last night and then BREAKING NEWS: Brown turns himself in for a domestic dispute that happened early Sunday morning. He was then arrested and released after paying his bond. Then the "unidentified" female story...Come on we all knew it was Rhianna whose real name is Robyn Rhianna Fenty. HELLO!! They were together Saturday night at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party. I don't mean to rant but seriously this is a very dangerous situation.
I think they are both talented singers and dancers. I hate to hear about anybody being in this kind of situation. Plus the fact that they are both very young and have very young fans who look up to them. Many reports claim Rhianna does not want to press charges but whether she does or not Chris Brown could be facing felony charges for what happened which police claimed Brown and Rhianna was leaving the party and they got into a heated argument which he stopped the car and they both got out and it got worse. Witnesses called 911 and when the police arrived Rhianna told them Chris Brown was her attacker by then Brown had felt the scene. She suffered bruises and a black eye and when Brown turned himself in hours later he had bruised knuckles. I really hope nothing worse than this happens to this talented young couple.I will keep everyone updated as this story develops.

OPINIONATED THAT'S ME!!!

OK I have been very busy but I am going to try to post something interesting on here everyday!! I'm actually going to post an article I did yesterday for Examiner.com where I am the Cleveland Entertainment News Writer. It is about Rhianna and Chris Brown...ENOUGH SAID!!!

TWO MAJOR STARS MAY QUIT GREY'S ANATOMY!!!

Could it be true? My favorite show of all time is losing two major stars? Say it ain't so!!! But after months of hearing that Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight were planning on leaving the show, their co-star James Pickens, Jr. ("The Chief") has somewhat confirmed it.
"Yes, she is," he told Us Weekly when asked if Heigl will exit the show. "Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best."
As for Knight, Pickens said, "He's going too."
I am not to happy right now!! The show this season has went downhill with the whole IZZIE AND DEAD DENNY THING but I still have faith in my favorite doctors from Seattle Grace. Now two of the biggest stars on the show are actually leaving...I say NO FAIR!!
But wait a minute...stop the presses a well placed ABC source states "There's no way Pickens could know that, because nothing has been decided yet. Nothing has been written and [Heigl and Knight] are still working out what will happen next season with the network." But it is likely the two will depart at the end of this season so I'll keep you all updated!!

FERGIE IS MARRIED NOW...

Like Sophia said on "The Color Purple" "I's married now" LOL!!
Fergie and Josh Duhamel are husband and wife.
The two tied the knot under magnolias filled with white roses Saturday at an ultra-private ceremony at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, Calif.
Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am was among the guests. (Around 5:09 p.m., attendees were overheard saying that the two had wed; cheers were also heard outside the estate.
Fergie , 33, wore a Dolce & Gabbana fitted, white ruched, corseted wedding gown with a mesh tulle overlay, spaghetti straps and a long train. The singer was draped in millions of dollars worth of one-of-a-kind diamonds by H.Stern. Duhamel, 36, also wore Dolce & Gabbana, as did the bridesmaids (in black dresses) and groomsmen (in black suits and white ties). The two exchanged H.Stern rings, with each band engraved with special personal messages by the bride and groom. Her engagement ring had a round, 4-carat brilliant cut diamond set amid other diamonds, with colors ranging from white to cognac. A narrow colored diamond wedding band was designed to match. Duhamel's ring was made of 18K white gold with a brush finish.
The newlyweds have been dating since 2004 after Duhamel confessed to In Style that she was his celeb crush."He popped the question in late 2007. Duhamel recently told Entertainment Tonight that plans were "all going great. It's fun, actually. We're both really excited about it, and it will be good."Last month, Fergie told Blender married life won't be so different for them."We're practically married, anyway," she said. "I'm madly in love with him. He understands how to treat a woman and give me respect."

OPINIONATED THAT'S ME!!!

So far this 1st week of the new year has been exhausting... I have the flu and today I decided to start my blog that I have been talking about for like ever. I might not write about every single entertainment story out there but I will talk about the important ones. I am also not trying to be the biggest and best blogger out here either. I will give my opinion from time to time about different things and hopefully I will get some real comments back! I am going to end on a positive note: ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!
